£700,000 is available to be spent in North Swindon.
As residents’ of North Swindon we are invited to take part in the public consultation process to help decide how to spend £700,000 on community projects in the Northern Development Area. Swindon Borough Council’s Cabinet have agreed that this figure should be made available from the Haydon 3 Section 106 agreement. This is a significant increase from the original sum proposed, and follows intervention by Cllr Vera Tomlinson supported by her two ward colleagues.

Come to the RRA meeting on Thursday 24th February to debate how you think this money should be used with your Ward Councillors.
The results of the consultation process will go to the chairman of the North area Connecting People Connecting Places Cluster for verification, and then on to two cabinet members to sign off, in the interests of fairness and openness.
